PARIS - CITY OF LIGHT NO MORE

Will Paris still be a ‘city of lights’ following illumination ban?

The lights will go out in Paris on 1 July, 2013.

Or at least the lights in office buildings and store windows,
as of 1am daily, for environmental reasons.

Late night lovers will be left in the dark,
no longer able to stroll through the streets window shopping
 in the "City of Love".

It really loses its magic when the lights don't shine, yes!

The Centre Georges Pompidou will lose its attraction.

Luckily, city centers that are tourist attractions are spared this new ruling
 from the Ministry of Ecology

So Notre Dame will still glow in the dark

And the Eiffel Tower will still sparkle.

2013 - UNLUCKY FOR SOME

Hope the new year is turning out to be everything you wish it to be.

13 can be an unlucky number for some, me - I don't believe such tales - after all 13 is the number that has sat on my letterbox for near 23 years so how can it be unlucky.

No 13 is not an unlucky number.

In fact let's hope that 13 is the luckiest number for all of us.

I could perhaps even live in the 13th Arrondissement in Paris

What do you think, is the 13th Arr. better than the 5th Arr. - Perhaps but I hardly think so. Even though they are located directly behind one another - I still love the 5th Arr.

I LOVE PARIS - AND I ALWAYS WILL

à bientôt
